Sukta 3.34
इन्द्रः स्वर्षा जनयन्नहानि जिगायोशिग्भिः पृतना अभिष्टिः । प्रारोचयन्मनवे केतुमह्नामविन्दज्ज्योतिर्बृहते रणाय ॥
índraḥ svaḥ-ṣā́ janáyan áhāni jigā́yośíg-bhiḥ pṛ́tanā abhiṣṭíḥ | prā́rocayan mánave ketúm áhṇām ávindaj jyótir bṛhaté ráṇāya ||
إندرا، إذ ظفرَ بعالَمِ الشمس (سْفَر)، أنشأَ الأيّامَ ولادةً؛ ومع الساعين المتّقدين غلبَ المعاركَ—عَوْنًا في الاندفاع. وأضاءَ لِمَنو علامةَ الأيّام، ووجدَ النورَ الفسيحَ للقتالِ العظيم.
