Sukta 2.34
यया रध्रं पारयथात्यंहो यया निदो मुञ्चथ वन्दितारम् । अर्वाची सा मरुतो या व ऊतिरो षु वाश्रेव सुमतिर्जिगातु ॥
yayā́ radhráṃ pā́rayathā́ty aṃhó yayā́ nidó muñcáthá vanditā́ram | arvā́cī sā́ maruto yā́ va ūtír ó ṣú vāśréva sumatír jigātu ||
بذلك العون الذي به تُعَبِّرون المكسورَ إلى ما وراء الضيق، وبذلك الذي به تُطلِقون من أُحِيطَ باللوم وهو جدير بالمدح—فليتوجّه إلينا عونكم ذاك، يا ماروت؛ ولتأتِ إلينا السَّمَتِي (حُسنُ الرأي)، كخُوارٍ خافتٍ يجذب قطيعَ الأشعّة إلى القرب.
