असावि देवं गोऋजीकमन्धो न्यस्मिन्निन्द्रो जनुषेमुवोच । बोधामसि त्वा हर्यश्व यज्ञैर्बोधा नः स्तोममन्धसो मदेषु ॥

Transliteration

asā́vi deváṃ goṛ́jīkam ándho nyàsmin índro jánuṣem uvoca | bodhā́masi tvā haryáśva yajñáir bódhā naḥ stómaṃ ándhaso mádeṣu ||

Translation

Sự ép vắt thiêng liêng đã được tỏ bày—Soma, kẻ đoạt lấy Ánh Sáng; trong đó Indra, ngay từ khi sinh ra, đã cất lời. Chúng con thức gọi Ngài, hỡi Đấng có ngựa vàng, bằng các lễ tế; trong những cơn xuất thần của Soma (mada), xin Ngài thức dậy vì chúng con, hướng về bài thánh ca này.
