Sukta 5.7
आ यस्ते सर्पिरासुतेऽग्ने शमस्ति धायसे । ऐषु द्युम्नमुत श्रव आ चित्तं मर्त्येषु धाः ॥
ā́ yás te sarpir-āsuté ’gne śám asti dhā́yase | ā́ eṣú dyumnám utá śrávaḥ ā́ cíttaṃ mártyeṣu dhāḥ ||
ผู้ใดหลั่งความมั่งคั่งอันใสกระจ่างคือเนยใส (sarpir) แด่ท่าน โอ อัคนี (Agni)—ในพลังแห่งการสถาปนา (dhāyase) ของท่านย่อมมีความสงบ (śam). ขอท่านจงวางไว้ท่ามกลางปุถุชนเหล่านี้ซึ่งเป็นมรรตยะ: ความรุ่งเรืองสว่างไสว (dyumna), ทั้งเกียรติยศแห่งการได้ยินอันดลใจ (śravas), และจิตที่ตื่นรู้ (citta).
