अर्चद्वृषा वृषभिः स्वेदुहव्यैर्मृगो नाश्नो अति यज्जुगुर्यात् । प्र मन्दयुर्मनां गूर्त होता भरते मर्यो मिथुना यजत्रः ॥

Transliteration

árcad vṛ́ṣā vṛ́ṣabhíḥ svéd u-havyair mṛgó nā́śno áti yáj juguryā́t | prá mandayúr manā́ṁ gū́rta hótā bhárate máryo mithunā́ yájatraḥ ||

Translation

พฤษภะ (ผู้เป็นดุจวัวเพศผู้) ถูกสรรเสริญโดยพฤษภะทั้งหลาย—โดยผู้ที่ถวายด้วยความปีติของตนเอง; ดุจสัตว์ป่า เขาก้าวล่วงผู้กิน เมื่อถึงคราวที่จะถูกปลุกให้ตื่น. โหตฤ (Hotar) ผู้มีแรงดลใจและเร่าร้อน นำความคิดไปข้างหน้า; ผู้ประกอบยัญญะหนุ่มนำเครื่องบูชาคู่มา ผู้ควรแก่การนมัสการ.
