Transliteration
úpa tvāgne divédivé dóṣāvastar dhiyā vayám | námo bháranta émasi ||
Translation
โอ อัคนี (Agni) เราเข้าใกล้ท่านวันแล้ววันเล่า; ในยามราตรีและเมื่ออรุณใกล้มา เราเข้าไปด้วยปัญญาตรึกตรองที่ตื่นแล้ว (dhī) น้อมนำการนอบน้อม (namo) ไปถวาย ขอได้เข้าสู่ความสถิตอันสว่างไสวและการชี้นำของท่าน
