Sukta 2.3
देव बर्हिर्वर्धमानं सुवीरं स्तीर्णं राये सुभरं वेद्यस्याम् । घृतेनाक्तं वसवः सीदतेदं विश्वे देवा आदित्या यज्ञियासः ॥
déva barhír várdhamānaṃ su-vī́raṃ stīrṇáṃ rāyé su-bháraṃ vedy ásyām | ghṛténa ā́ktaṃ vasavaḥ sīdatédaṃ víśve devā ādityā yajñíyāsaḥ ||
హే దేవులారా! ఈ బర్హి (కుశ) వర్ధిల్లుతోంది; సువీరం (వీరబలసంపన్నం), రాయే (సమృద్ధి) కొరకు పరచబడింది; ఈ వేద్య (వేదిక-ఆసనం)పై సు-భరం (శుభధారక, సుస్థిరం)గా ఉంది. ఘృతంతో అభ్యక్తమై—హే వసువులారా! ఇక్కడ కూర్చోండి; హే విశ్వే దేవాః, హే ఆదిత్యులారా—యజ్ఞియులు—ఆసీనులవండి.
