muraja-paṇava-megha-ghoṣavad daśaratha-veśma babhūva yat purā | vilapita-paridevanākulaṃ vyasana-gataṃ tad abhūt su-duḥkhitam || 2.39.41 ||

Translation

முன்பு முரஜம், பணவம் ஆகியவற்றின் ஒலியால் மேகமுழக்கம் போல் முழங்கிய தசரதனின் அரண்மனை, இப்போது பேரிடரால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்பட்டு அழுகையும் புலம்பலும் நிறைந்து மிகுந்த துயரத்தில் மூழ்கியது.
