“Release this pressed Soma—its exhilaration—for Indra the exhilarator; (release) the doer who sets all things in motion for the wheel.”
The inner workers (powers in the seeker) are urged to let the pressed essence of delight flow freely—Soma as mandī (rapture)—toward Indra, who is himself mandin (the one who intensifies ecstasy). When Indra drinks, he becomes cakrī: the effective agent who turns the cakra, the wheel of right working—psychologically, the dynamic movement of truth in the being, where energies, thoughts, and acts begin to rotate in harmony rather than inertia.
Delight offered to higher intelligence becomes a dynamo: it sets the whole system in truthful motion. What is ‘released’ upward returns as ordered movement downward.
Soma-ritual, Indra empowerment, Inner exhilaration as force for right action, Ṛta as ordered movement
Kāṇva hymns often emphasize the practical inner mechanics of yajña: pressing, releasing, receiving, and the resulting ‘movement’ of power.
The seer highlights a key yogic law: Ananda must be ‘released’ and offered; when possessed or suppressed it stagnates, but when surrendered it becomes the wheel-turning force of right action.
Energizer of the worlds; sets the powers into their right motion after breaking obstruction.
Transforms delight into dynamic truth-force; initiates rhythmic, effective action aligned with inner law.
Soma pressing and offering to Indra; an injunction to release the pressed Soma for the deity.

Quick, propulsive; well-suited to ‘release’ and ‘set in motion’ commands.
Stirs inertia; induces a sense of circulation/flow in breath and attention.
Soma offering (Soma-yajña context; pressing and libation to Indra, especially in Indra-Soma sequences of the Soma sacrifice)
During Soma preparation/oblation sequences; invitatory moment before offering.
Recitation while Soma is poured/filtered/offered; ‘letting flow’ is enacted outwardly.
Use when feeling stuck: chant to ‘release’ held energy/emotion into aspiration; then act from clarified momentum rather than compulsion.
Key roots: √sṛj ‘to release, emit, pour’ (imperative sṛjata: the ritual pour becomes an inner ‘letting-flow’ of delight-power). √su ‘to press/extract’ → suta- ‘pressed (Soma)’, locative sute ‘in/at the pressing’. mandí- ‘gladdening, intoxicating’ related to √mand ‘to rejoice, be exhilarated’—psychologically the intensification of ānanda that energizes will. cakrá- ‘wheel’ from √kṛ/√car complex of ‘doing/moving/turning’; cakrín-/cakrí- ‘one who has/does the wheel (turner, doer)’, suggesting efficacious force that sets the whole nature into right motion (ṛta-cakra). Indra (from √ind ‘to drop, kindle; to be powerful’ in traditional etymologies) functions here as the lord of illumined mental force who receives Soma to accomplish the works.
Ānanda (delight/rapture as a power of realization), Ṛta (right order as a ‘wheel’ of true working), Satyam-Ritam (truth and right movement implicit in cakra imagery)
Cakra here can be read as Ṛta’s wheel—truth as rhythmic functioning rather than static idea.
Truth becomes effective only when it moves the nature; Indra is the agent of Satya in action.
World-process as a turning: cycles set right by illumined force energized by delight.
Integral symbolic cosmology: gods as functional powers governing rhythms of consciousness.

Pressing = tapas/practice; Soma flow = Ananda-current; wheel = regulated pranic-mental circulation aligned with truth.
Let delight circulate upward to illumined mind; feel it return as ordered movement in life.
svādhiṣṭhāna (flow/ānanda) integrated with ājñā (illumination)
Gentle vinyāsa of breath: inhale ‘receive Soma’, exhale ‘release to Indra’; keep breath smooth and cyclic like a wheel.
Flowing dynamism—clarity in motion.
On each repetition, consciously relax the impulse to control; offer the ‘pressed essence’ of your day (gains/losses) into a higher joy; then notice the next right action arise naturally.
Maintain Vedic accents; keep imperative verbs (sṛjata) clearly articulated; observe udatta/svarita as per recension.
Give a slight lift on ‘sṛ-’ and ‘man-’ syllables where accented; avoid flattening the three pādas into one line.
sṛjata: vocalic ‘ṛ’ (sṛ-ja-ta) not ‘sir’, sute: long-ish ‘u’ (su-te), mandim/mandine: retroflex ‘ṇ’ absent—use dental ‘n’; keep ‘di’ light, cakrim/cakraye: ‘kr’ cluster crisp; ‘ye’ clear
Energizing, flowing, rhythmic.
