भरद्वाजाश्रमगमनम्
Bharata at Bharadvāja’s Hermitage
ततस्तथेत्येवमुदारदर्शनः प्रतीतरूपो भरतोऽब्रवीद्वचः ।
चकार बुद्धिं च तदा तदाश्रमे निशानिवासाय नराधिपाऽत्मजः ॥२४॥
tatas tathety evam udāradarśanaḥ pratītarūpo bharato 'bravīd vacaḥ |
cakāra buddhiṃ ca tadā tadāśrame niśānivāsāya narādhipātmajaḥ ||24||
ततः ‘तथेत्येव’ इति उदारदर्शनः प्रतीतरूपो भरतो वचोऽब्रवीत्। तदा नराधिपात्मजः तस्मिन्नाश्रमे निशानिवासाय बुद्धिं चकार॥
A man of liberal disposition, Bharata expressed his intention, saying, 'Be it so'. Then the prince made up him mind to spend the might in that hermitage.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē ayōdhyākāṇḍē navatitamassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the ninetieth sarga in Ayodhyakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
