Sukta 14
सावी॒र्हि दे॑व प्रथ॒माय॑ पि॒त्रे व॒र्ष्माण॑मस्मै वरि॒माण॑मस्मै । अथा॒स्मभ्यं॑ सवित॒र्वार्या॑णि दि॒वोदि॑व॒ आ सु॑वा॒ भूरि॑ प॒श्वः
sāvī́r hí deva prathamā́ya pitré varṣmā́ṇam asmai varímāṇam asmai | áthā́smábhyaṃ savitar vā́ryāṇi divódiva ā́ suva bhū́ri paśváḥ
For thou, O god, didst impel for the first Father loftiness for him, wide room for him. So now for us, O Savitar, day after day impel hither desirable boons—abundance of cattle.
सावीर्हि देव प्रथमार्य पित्रे वर्ष्माणम् अस्मै वरिमाणम् अस्मै। अथास्मभ्यं सवितर्वार्याणि दिवो-दिव आ सुव भूरि पश्वः।
