अयं एकमन्त्रः सूक्तः आत्मानं अन्तर्यामीं प्राणशक्तिं इन्द्रस्य सोमधारिणोदररूपेणाभिमतां आह्वयति, जननशक्तिं च यथोचितं गृहस्थाश्रय एव नियच्छति। अस्य प्रभावः पौष्टिकः स्त्रीकर्माणि च—इहैव विधिपूर्वकं सन्ततिं स्थापयितुं, एकत्रीकर्तुं, स्थिरीकर्तुं च; अन्यत्र या प्रजननशक्तिः आसक्तयश्च स्युः ता अन्यत्रैव तिष्ठन्त्विति, प्रजननरसस्य विक्षेपं निवारयति।
