एष एकऋचोऽथर्वणीयो मन्त्रः गृहस्य श्रीं समृद्धिं च दृढतया स्थापयति, अरिष्टानि च शत्रुप्रेतानि निमित्तानि हिंसकबलानि च अपसारयति। गोस्थैर्योपमाभिः पर्वतस्थैर्योपमाभिश्च गृहं सम्यक् समन्वय्य, व्याघ्रादीन् वृकानिव प्रतीकान् आपदः ‘स्थापयति’—यथा न विचरन्ति न च यजमानं हिंसन्ति। अस्य मन्त्रस्य बलम् अपोत्प्रवण-स्थिरीकरणम्—गृहं धनस्य रक्षायाश्च सुरक्षितं, अच्युतं, अरन्ध्रं पात्रमिव कर्तुम्।
