Obeisance be to thee, unto the ploughs; obeisance unto the pole and yokes. Let the Virút-plant, the destroyer of kṣetriya, thrust the kṣetriya malady away.
लाङ्गलेभ्यः नमः; ईषायुगेभ्यः नमः। वीरुत् क्षेत्रियनाशनी क्षेत्रियम् अप उच्छतु।
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often transmitted under Atharvan/Angiras lineages for bhaiṣajya hymns; specific r̥ṣi attribution varies by anukramaṇī).
Devata: Virút (medicinal plant) and the empowered agricultural implements (plough, pole, yokes) as functional deities.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; AV healing verses commonly fall in anuṣṭubh—confirmable against padapāṭha metrical counts in a critical edition).
