Sukta 4.21
नू ष्टुत इन्द्र नू गृणान इषं जरित्रे नद्यो न पीपेः । अकारि ते हरिवो ब्रह्म नव्यं धिया स्याम रथ्यः सदासाः ॥
nū́ ṣṭutá índra nū́ gṛṇānā́ íṣaṃ jaritré nádyò ná pīpeḥ | ákāri te hari-vo bráhma návyaṃ dhiyā́ syāma rathyáḥ sadā́sāḥ ||
Agora louvado, ó Indra, agora cantado, fazes inchar para o cantor a corrente do ímpeto inspirado, como incham os rios. Para ti, ó Harivas (senhor dos corcéis baios), foi moldado um brahman novo, uma palavra de poder; pela inspiração do pensamento sejamos aptos ao caminho do carro, companheiros constantes.
