तुभ्यं स्तोका घृतश्चुतोऽग्ने विप्राय सन्त्य । ऋषिः श्रेष्ठः समिध्यसे यज्ञस्य प्राविता भव ॥

túbhyaṃ stokā́ ghṛtaścúto ’gne víprāya santyá | ṛ́ṣiḥ śréṣṭhaḥ sám idhyase yajñásya prāvitā́ bhava ||

ਹੇ ਅਗਨੀ, ਘ੍ਰਿਤ-ਝਰਦੇ ਸਤੋਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਹਨ—ਵਿਪ੍ਰ ਦੀ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ-ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਲਈ। ਤੂੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਪ੍ਰਜ੍ਵਲਿਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ; ਯਜ੍ਞ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਵਿਤਾ ਬਣ—ਉਸ ਦੀ ਠੀਕ ਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੋਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰ।
