घृतवन्तः पावक ते स्तोकाः श्चोतन्ति मेदसः । स्वधर्मन्देववीतये श्रेष्ठं नो धेहि वार्यम् ॥
Transliteration
ghṛtávantaḥ pāvaka te stokā́ḥ ścotanti médasaḥ | svádharman devávītaye śréṣṭhaṃ no dhehi vā́ryam ||
Translation
ਹੇ ਪਾਵਕ, ਘ੍ਰਿਤ-ਭਰੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਤੋਕ ਮੇਦਸ ਦੀ ਸਾਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਟਪਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਸ੍ਵਧਰ੍ਮਨ, ਦੇਵਵੀਤਯੇ—ਦੇਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਲਈ—ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਵਰੀ, ਇੱਛਿਤ ਪੂਰਨਤਾ ਟਿਕਾ ਦੇ।
