Sukta 1.39
युष्मेषितो मरुतो मर्त्येषित आ यो नो अभ्व ईषते । वि तं युयोत शवसा व्योजसा वि युष्माकाभिरूतिभिः ॥
yuṣméṣito maruto mártyeṣita ā́ yó no ábhva ī́ṣate | ví táṃ yuyota śávasā vy ójasā ví yuṣmā́kābhir ūtíbhiḥ ||
Sama ada digerakkan oleh kamu, wahai Marut, atau digerakkan oleh seorang insan fana—sesiapa yang menekan kami dengan daya permusuhan yang besar—asingkanlah dia daripada kami dengan kuasa kamu, dengan kekuatan kamu, dengan pertolongan-pertolongan penyelamat milik kamu sendiri.
