असुरैर्निर्जिताः सद्यो दुद्रुवुर्विमुखा भृशम् ॥ देवेषु चैवग्भग्रेषु विद्वतेषु विशेषतः ॥
asurairnirjitāḥ sadyo dudruvurvimukhā bhṛśam || deveṣu caivagbhagreṣu vidvateṣu viśeṣataḥ ||
അസുരന്മാർ ഉടൻ ജയിച്ചതോടെ അവർ മുഖം തിരിച്ച് അത്യന്തം വ്യാകുലതയോടെ വേഗത്തിൽ ഓടി. ദേവന്മാരിൽ പോലും, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ജ്ഞാനികളെന്ന് പ്രസിദ്ധരായവരിലും, ഇതേ അവസ്ഥയായിരുന്നു.
