जनुदैरयाः सुरान्संख्य सुराश्चैव तथासुरान् ॥ एवं क्षणमथो युद्ध्वा तदा देवाः सवासवाः ॥
janudairayāḥ surānsaṃkhya surāścaiva tathāsurān || evaṃ kṣaṇamatho yudhvā tadā devāḥ savāsavāḥ ||
അസംഖ്യ സൈന്യങ്ങൾ ദേവന്മാരെ പ്രഹരിച്ചു; ദേവന്മാരും അതുപോലെ അസുരന്മാരെ പ്രഹരിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെ ക്ഷണമാത്രം യുദ്ധം ചെയ്ത്, ഇന്ദ്രനോടുകൂടിയ ദേവഗണം സമരത്തിൽ നിലകൊണ്ടു.
