एष ते विधिरुद्दिष्टः श्रावणे मासि वै विभो । एतस्याश्च प्रभावं यत् शृणु पापप्रणाशनम् ॥ ४७.७ ॥
eṣa te vidhir uddiṣṭaḥ śrāvaṇe māsi vai vibho | etasyāś ca prabhāvaṃ yat śṛṇu pāpapraṇāśanam || 47.7 ||
ഹേ വിഭോ! ശ്രാവണ മാസത്തിൽ ഈ വിധി നിനക്കായി ഉപദേശിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇനി ഇതിന്റെ പാപനാശകമായ പ്രഭാവം കേൾക്കുക.
