यशस्वी कीर्त्तिमान्भूत्वा वन्द्यते प्रेत्य चेह च ॥ श्रोतव्यमेतत्सततं चातुर्वर्ण्यैः सुसंयुतैः
yaśasvī kīrtimān bhūtvā vandyate pretya ceha ca || śrotavyam etat satataṃ cāturvarṇyaiḥ susaṃyutaiḥ
യശസ്സും കീർത്തിയും പ്രാപിച്ച് മനുഷ്യൻ ഇഹലോകത്തും പരലോകത്തും വന്ദ്യനാകുന്നു. ചാതുർവർണ്യത്തിൽ സുസംയമമുള്ളവർ ഇത് സദാ ശ്രവിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്.
