श्रीवराह उवाच ॥ साधु देवि महाभागे यत्पृष्टोऽहं वरानने ॥ रहस्यं ते प्रवक्ष्यामि लोकानां हितकाम्यया
śrīvarāha uvāca | sādhu devi mahābhāge yat pṛṣṭo'haṁ varānane | rahasyaṁ te pravakṣyāmi lokānāṁ hitakāmyayā ||
ശ്രീവരാഹൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ മഹാഭാഗ്യവതീ ദേവീ, ഹേ വരാനനേ! നീ നല്ല ചോദ്യം ചോദിച്ചു. ലോകങ്ങളുടെ ഹിതം ആഗ്രഹിച്ച് ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് ഒരു രഹസ്യോപദേശം പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.
