The Glory of the Mathurā Sacred Landscape: Saṃyamana Tīrtha and the Twelve Sacred Forests
tatra snāto mṛto vāpi mama lokaṁ sa gacchati || punar anyat pravakṣyāmi tac chṛṇuṣva vasundhare ||
Varāha
It explicitly marks the dialogic frame (Varāha addressing Earth), indicating a didactic narrative structure typical of Purāṇic chapters.
The same Mathurā-region tīrtha context continues; the verse points to the site where bathing is performed (contextually Saṁyamana).
An instruction in attentive listening and transmission of knowledge, alongside the cultural practice of recognizing tīrthas as meaningful heritage places.
