Praise of the Sacred Geography of Mathurā
तस्मिंस्तु वसते देवि तिन्दुको नाम नापितः॥ तस्मिंस्तु वसतस्तस्य नापितस्य पुरोत्तमे॥
tasmiṁstu vasate devi tinduko nāma nāpitaḥ || tasmiṁstu vasatas tasya nāpitasya purottame ||
ദേവീ, ആ ഉത്തമനഗരത്തിൽ ‘തിന്ദുക’ എന്ന പേരുള്ള ഒരു ക്ഷൗരകൻ (നാപിതൻ) താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു. ആ നഗരത്തിൽ വസിച്ചിരുന്ന ആ നാപിതനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള (അടുത്ത) കഥ പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.
