A Sūtra-like Manual of Expiations for Ritual Transgressions

हीनपादेन जायेत चैकं जन्म वसुन्धरे ॥ मूर्खश्च क्रोधनश्चैव मद्भक्तश्चैव जायते ॥

hīnapādena jāyeta caikaṃ janma vasundhare | mūrkhaś ca krodhanaś caiva madbhaktaś caiva jāyate ||

ഹേ വസുന്ധരാ, അവൻ ഒരു ജന്മം ദോഷമുള്ള പാദത്തോടെ ജനിക്കുന്നു; കൂടാതെ മൂഢനും ക്രോധിയുമായും ജനിക്കുന്നു—എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ഭക്തനായി തന്നെയും ജനിക്കുന്നു।
