प्रास्य धारा बृहतीरसृग्रन्नक्तो गोभिः कलशाँ आ विवेश । साम कृण्वन्त्सामन्यो विपश्चित्क्रन्दन्नेत्यभि सख्युर्न जामिम् ॥
Transliteration
prā́sya dhā́rā bṛhatī́r asṛgran aktó góbhih kalaśā́m̐ ā́ viveśa | sā́ma kṛṇvā́nt sāmanyó vipaścit krándann ety abhí sakhyúr ná jāmím ||
Translation
അവനിൽ നിന്നു മഹത്തായ ധാരകൾ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; കിരണങ്ങളാൽ അഭിഷിക്തനായി, ഗോകളോടുകൂടെ കലശങ്ങളിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു. സാമം നിർമ്മിച്ചു പാടുന്നവൻ—സാമത്തിന്റെ അധിപൻ, വിവേകദർശിയായ ദ്രഷ്ടാവ്—ഉച്ചത്തിൽ വിളിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, സഖന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കെന്നപോലെ തന്റെ ജ്ഞാതികളിലേക്കു നീങ്ങുന്നു.
