Sukta 9.91
वीती जनस्य दिव्यस्य कव्यैरधि सुवानो नहुष्येभिरिन्दुः । प्र यो नृभिरमृतो मर्त्येभिर्मर्मृजानोऽविभिर्गोभिरद्भिः ॥
vītī́ jánasya divyásya kavyáir ádhi suvānó nahuṣyébhir índuḥ | prá yó nṛ́bhir amṛ́to mártyebhir marmṛjānó’vibhír góbhir adbhiḥ ||
ദിവ്യജനത്തിന്റെ ആസ്വാദനത്തിനായി, കവികളുടെ പ്രചോദനങ്ങളാൽ, നഹുഷ്യപുരുഷന്മാരോടൊപ്പം സോമബിന്ദു പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. അവൻ മുന്നേറുന്നു—മർത്ത്യരിൽ അമൃതൻ—ആടുകളുടെ ഉണ്ണ് (ചാലനി), പശുക്കൾ (കിരണങ്ങൾ), ജലങ്ങൾ (ശുദ്ധിയുടെ പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ) എന്നിവയാൽ മർമരിതനായി, ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ട് തെളിഞ്ഞവനായി.
