राज्ञो नु ते वरुणस्य व्रतानि बृहद्गभीरं तव सोम धाम । शुचिष्ट्वमसि प्रियो न मित्रो दक्षाय्यो अर्यमेवासि सोम ॥
rājño nú te váruṇasya vratā́ni bṛhád gabhīráṃ táva soma dhā́ma | śucís tvám asi priyó na mitró dakṣā́yyo aryámā-iva asi soma ||
ഇപ്പോൾ നിനക്കാണ് രാജാവായ വരുണന്റെ ഋത-വ്രതങ്ങൾ—സത്യത്തിന്റെ നിയമങ്ങൾ; വിശാലവും ഗഹനവും ആകുന്നു നിന്റെ ധാമം, ഹേ സോമ. നീ അതിശുദ്ധൻ; മിത്രനെപ്പോലെ പ്രിയൻ; ദക്ഷതയുടെ കര്മ്മത്തിന് യോഗ്യൻ—അര്യമനെപ്പോലെ—ഹേ സോമ.
