Sukta 9.86
यज्ञस्य केतुः पवते स्वध्वरः सोमो देवानामुप याति निष्कृतम् । सहस्रधारः परि कोशमर्षति वृषा पवित्रमत्येति रोरुवत् ॥
yajñásya ketúḥ pavate svadhvaráḥ sómo devānām úpa yāti niṣkṛtám | sahásra-dhāraḥ pári kośam arṣati vṛ́ṣā pavítram áty eti rórūvat ||
യജ്ഞത്തിന്റെ കേതു (പ്രകാശചിഹ്നം) പവതെയാകുന്നു—സുവ്യവസ്ഥിത പഥമുള്ള സോമൻ; അവൻ ദേവന്മാരുടെ നിഷ്കൃത (പ്രകട) അവകാശത്തിലേക്ക് സമീപിക്കുന്നു. സഹസ്രധാരനായി അവൻ കോശത്തെ ചുറ്റി പാഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നു; വൃഷഭസമാന ബലവാൻ, റോരുവത് (ഗർജ്ജന) നാദത്തോടെ പവിത്രത്തെ അതിക്രമിക്കുന്നു—ശുദ്ധാനന്ദത്തിന്റെ പ്രളയം.
