प्र त आश्विनीः पवमान धीजुवो दिव्या असृग्रन्पयसा धरीमणि । प्रान्तॠषयः स्थाविरीरसृक्षत ये त्वा मृजन्त्यृषिषाण वेधसः ॥
prá ta āśvínīḥ pavamāna dhī-júvo divyā́ asṛ́gran páyasā dhárīmaṇi | prā́ntar ṛ́ṣayaḥ sthā́virīr asṛkṣata yé tvā mṛjánty ṛṣi-sāṇa vedhásaḥ ||
ഹേ പവമാന സോമ, നിന്റെ ആശ്വിനീ ശക്തികൾ മുന്നോട്ട് പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു—ധീ (ദർശനം) കൊണ്ടു പ്രേരിതമായ ദിവ്യ പ്രചോദനങ്ങൾ—ആധാരാസനത്തിൽ സാരത്തിന്റെ പാൽ (പയസ്) വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്. ഉള്ളിലെ ഋഷിമാർ ദൃഢമായ ധാരകൾ വിട്ടുവിട്ടു; ഹേ ഋഷിഷാണ (ഋഷി-പ്രേരക), വേധസ് (പവിത്രജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ ശില്പികൾ) ആയ അവർ നിന്നെ മൃജിച്ച് ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു.
