Sukta 9.72
आ तू न इन्दो शतदात्वश्व्यं सहस्रदातु पशुमद्धिरण्यवत् । उप मास्व बृहती रेवतीरिषोऽधि स्तोत्रस्य पवमान नो गहि ॥
ā́ tū́ na indo śatádātu áśvyaṃ sahásradātu paśumád dhíraṇyavat | úpa māsva bṛhatī́ revátīr íṣo ’dhi stótrasya pavamāna no gahi ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദു (സോമ)! ശതദാതു—നൂറുനൂറായി ദാനങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നവനേ—അശ്വ്യം (അശ്വബലം/അശ്വസമ്പത്ത്) സഹിതം; സഹസ്രദാതു—ആയിരം ദാനങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നവനേ—പശുമത്, ഹിരണ്യവത് (സ്വർണ്ണപ്രഭ/സ്വർണ്ണസമ്പത്ത് ഉള്ളവൻ) ആയി ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു വരിക. ബൃഹതീയും രേവതീയും ആയ ഇഷഃ (പോഷക പ്രേരണകൾ/ഉത്സാഹധാരകൾ) ഞങ്ങളോടു അടുത്തുവരട്ടെ; ഹേ പവമാന! നമ്മുടെ സ്തോത്രത്തിലേക്കു വന്നു അതിന്മേൽ ആസനം ഏൽക്കുക.
