Sukta 9.67
इन्दुर्हिन्वानो अर्षति तिरो वाराण्यव्यया । हरिर्वाजमचिक्रदत् ॥
índur hinvāṇó arṣati tiró vārāṇy avyáyā | hárir vā́jam acikradat ||
Recited/sung during the Soma’s purification and forward movement through filters; supports the overcoming of ‘coverings’ as Soma is made fit for Indra’s draught and the rite’s energizing climax.
Crossing veils of ignorance (āvaraṇa) toward truth, The imperishable (avyaya) as stable law of R̥ta, Vāja as victorious fullness of being
Avyaya path as ṛta’s continuity: the right movement cannot perish because it is truth-based.
Breakthrough beyond coverings reveals satya-light behind appearances.
Evolution by crossing veils: consciousness emerging from enclosure to wideness.
Integral/psychological Veda: liberation and manifestation (vāja) together.
A bright current of delight moves through layers of obscurity; the tawny energy of action announces regained power and success.
Feel the Soma-stream crossing inner veils; identify one ‘covering’ (fear, doubt, inertia) and let the flow pass through it.
maṇipūra (breakthrough force) supporting ājñā (clear path)
Kapalabhati-light (if suitable) for 30–60 strokes, then quiet breathing while chanting to ‘cross’ inertia; otherwise steady nasal breathing with strong exhale emphasis.
Forward-moving clarity; resilient aspiration.
On ‘tiraḥ vārāṇi’ visualize passing through a translucent veil; on ‘avyayā’ rest in the sense of the soul’s unbroken path; end with silent affirmation of vāja (capacity).
Not fully recoverable from provided text; chant with a smooth, continuous intonation to mirror ‘arṣati’ (flow).
Light emphasis: índuḥ, hinvānáḥ, árṣati, tíraḥ, vārā́ṇi, avyáyā, háriḥ, vā́jam (approx.). Keep the line unbroken.
induḥ: final ḥ lightly aspirated, hinvāno: ‘hv’ conjunct; long ā, tiraḥ: short i; final ḥ, vārāṇi: long ā; retroflex ṇ, avyayā: ‘vy’ conjunct; long ā at end, acikradat: ‘ci’ clear; ‘kr’ crisp; final ‘t’ dental
Flowing, unwavering, slightly bright nasal resonance; avoid jerky pauses.
