sa vṛtra-hā vṛṣā suto varivo-vid adābhyaḥ | somo vājam ivāsarat ||
Translation
അവൻ വൃത്രഹാ, ശക്തനായ വൃഷഭൻ—സുത (പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുത്ത) സോമൻ—വരിവോ (വിശാല മാർഗം/ആശ്രയം) കണ്ടെത്തുന്നവൻ; അജേയനായ സോമൻ വാജം (ബല-സമൃദ്ധി)പോലെ ധാരയായി ഒഴുകി പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
