स सुतः पीतये वृषा सोमः पवित्रे अर्षति । विघ्नन्रक्षांसि देवयुः ॥
Transliteration
sá sutáḥ pītáye vṛ́ṣā sómaḥ pavítre arṣati | ví-ghnan rákṣāṃsi deva-yúḥ ||
Translation
പാനം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി സുതനായ വൃഷാ സോമൻ പവിത്രത്തിലൂടെ വേഗത്തിൽ ഒഴുകുന്നു, ദേവയുഃ (ദേവനെ തേടുന്നവൻ) ആയി; അവൻ വിഘ്നങ്ങളെയും രക്ഷാംസികളെയും (അന്ധകാരശക്തികളെ) ചിതറിക്കുന്നു.
