अप्सु त्वा मधुमत्तमं हरिं हिन्वन्त्यद्रिभिः । इन्दविन्द्राय पीतये ॥
Transliteration
apsú tvā mádhumattamaṃ háriṃ hinvánty ádribhiḥ | índav índrāya pītáye ||
Translation
അപ്സു—ശുദ്ധജലങ്ങളിൽ—നിന്നെ, ഹേ അതിമധുമയ ഹരി (താമ്രപ്രഭയുള്ളവനേ), അദ്രിഭിഃ പിഴിയുന്ന കല്ലുകളാൽ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ഹേ ഇന്ദു, ഇന്ദ്രൻ പാനം ചെയ്യുവാൻ—അവൻ കുടിച്ച് ജയബലത്തോടെ നിറയുവാൻ—വേണ്ടി.
