प्र ते सोतार ओण्यो रसं मदाय घृष्वये । सर्गो न तक्त्येतशः ॥

Transliteration

prá te sotā́ra oṇyò ráso mádāya ghṛ́ṣvaye | sárgo ná takty ètaśaḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ സോമാ! നിനക്കായി സോതാരന്മാർ മദം (ആനന്ദോന്മാദം)ക്കും ദീപ്തമായ ഉഷ്മയ്ക്കുമായി രസം മുന്നോട്ടൊഴുക്കുന്നു; വിട്ടയച്ച പ്രവാഹംപോലെ അത് വേഗത്തിൽ പാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു, ഓട്ടത്തിൽ പ്രേരിതമായ വേഗാശ്വംപോലെ മുന്നേറുന്നു.
