परि प्रासिष्यदत्कविः सिन्धोरूर्मावधि श्रितः । कारं बिभ्रत्पुरुस्पृहम् ॥
Transliteration
pári prā́siṣyadat kavíḥ síndhor ūrmā́v ádhi śritáḥ | kāráṃ bíbhrat puruspṛ́ham ||
Translation
കവി-ശക്തി എല്ലാടവും ചുറ്റി നീങ്ങി മുന്നോട്ട് തള്ളിപ്പോകുന്നു; സമുദ്ര-പ്രവാഹത്തിന്റെ തരംഗത്തിന്മേൽ അധിഷ്ഠിതമായി, അത് അനേകം ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ സമൃദ്ധമായ സൃഷ്ടിപരമായ ഉച്ചാരണം (കാരം) വഹിക്കുന്നു—സഫലാന്വേഷണത്തിന്റെ ശക്തികളെ.
