दिवो नाभा विचक्षणोऽव्यो वारे महीयते । सोमो यः सुक्रतुः कविः ॥
Transliteration
divó nā́bhā vicakṣaṇó ’vyó vā́re mahīyate | sómo yáḥ sukrátuḥ kavíḥ ||
Translation
ദിവ്യനാഭിയിൽ നിന്ന്, വിചക്ഷണൻ—സൂക്ഷ്മദർശി—സോമൻ അവിയുടെ (ഉണ്ണിന്റെ) ചാലനധാരയിൽ മഹിമപ്പെടുന്നു; സുക്രതു—ശുദ്ധവും ദീപ്തവുമായ സംकल्पമുള്ള—കവി (ഋഷി-കവി) ആയ അവൻ നമ്മുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ മഹത്താകുന്നു.
