यत्ते राजञ्छृतं हविस्तेन सोमाभि रक्ष नः । अरातीवा मा नस्तारीन्मो च नः किं चनाममदिन्द्रायेन्दो परि स्रव ॥
Transliteration
yát te rājan śṛtáṃ hávis téna somā́bhi rakṣa naḥ | arātī-vā mā nas tārīn mó ca naḥ kíṃ canā́mamat índrā́yendo pári srava ||
Translation
ഹേ രാജാവേ, നിന്റെ ശ്രുത (സിദ്ധമായി തയ്യാറാക്കിയ) ഹവിസ്സിനാൽ, ഹേ സോമ, ഞങ്ങളെ കാത്തുകൊൾക. വൈരഭാവം (അരാതീവാ) ഞങ്ങളെ കടന്നുപോകാതിരിക്കട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങളെ ഒന്നും ഒട്ടുമൊത്തമായി കീഴടക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ സോമ, ഞങ്ങളെ ചുറ്റി ഒഴുകി, ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കും ഒഴുകിവരിക.
