Sukta 9.107
अपो वसानः परि कोशमर्षतीन्दुर्हियानः सोतृभिः । जनयञ्ज्योतिर्मन्दना अवीवशद्गाः कृण्वानो न निर्णिजम् ॥
apó vásānaḥ pári kóśam arṣatī́ndur hiyānáḥ sotṛ́bh iḥ | janáyan jyótir mandánā avīvaśád gā́ḥ kṛṇvānáḥ ná nirṇíjam ||
അപോയുടെ വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച്, സോതൃഭിഃ പ്രേരിതനായ ഇന്ദു പാത്രത്തെ ചുറ്റി ഒഴുകുന്നു. ജ്യോതി ജനിപ്പിച്ച്, ആനന്ദിച്ച്, അവൻ ഗാഃ—കിരണങ്ങളെ—പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; പ്രകാശമയ നിർണിജ്—ദീപ്ത വസ്ത്രം—രചിക്കുന്നവനെപ്പോലെ.
