नाभा नाभिं न आ ददे चक्षुश्चित्सूर्ये सचा । कवेरपत्यमा दुहे ॥
Transliteration
nā́bhā nā́bhiṃ na ā́ dade cákṣuś cit sū́rye sácā | kavér apátyam ā́ duhe ||
Translation
അവൻ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് നാഭി—അസ്തിത്വത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യഗന്ധി—നൽകുന്നു; സൂര്യനോടൊപ്പം സഹചാരിയായി ദൃഷ്ടിയുടെ കണ്ണും നൽകുന്നു. കവിയുടെ അപത്യത്തെ അവൻ ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി ദോഹിക്കുന്നു—പ്രേരിതജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ ജനനം.
