पत्नीवन्तः सुता इम उशन्तो यन्ति वीतये । अपां जग्मिर्निचुम्पुणः ॥
Transliteration
pátnīvantaḥ sutā́ imá uśánto yanti vītáye | apā́ṃ jágmir nicumpuṇaḥ ||
Translation
സഹചാരശക്തികളോടുകൂടിയ ഈ സോമസുത പീഡനങ്ങൾ, ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ, ദേവന്റെ വീതി (ഭോജന/ആസ്വാദനം)ക്കായി പോകുന്നു. അവ അപാം—ജലങ്ങളിലേക്കു—ചെന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; താഴോട്ടു ചൂഷിച്ചു കുടിക്കുന്നവർ, ഉള്ളിലെ ആഴമുള്ള പ്രവാഹം തേടി.
