तत्सूर्यं रोदसी उभे दोषा वस्तोरुप ब्रुवे । भोजेष्वस्माँ अभ्युच्चरा सदा ॥
Transliteration
tát sū́ryaṃ ródasī ubhé dóṣā́ vastór úpa bruve | bhójēṣv asmā́n abhy ùc-carā sádā ||
Translation
ആ സൂര്യനെ ഞാൻ രാത്രിയിലും ഉഷസ്സിലും—ഇരു ലോകങ്ങളായ (രോദസീ) ഇരുവശത്തും—ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘ഭോഗങ്ങളിലേക്കായി ഞങ്ങള്ക്കുമീതെ സദാ മേലോട്ടു സഞ്ചരിക്ക; ആത്മാവ് സത്യാനന്ദങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കുചേരുന്ന വിശാലതയിലേക്കു ഞങ്ങളെ ഉയർത്തുക.’
