आ यदश्वान्वनन्वतः श्रद्धयाहं रथे रुहम् । उत वामस्य वसुनश्चिकेतति यो अस्ति याद्वः पशुः ॥

ā́ yád aśvā́n vanánvataḥ śraddháyāháṃ ráthe rúham | utá vā́masya vásunaś ciketati yó ásti yā́dvaḥ paśúḥ ||

വിജയശീലമായ അശ്വങ്ങളെ സമീപത്തേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരുമ്പോൾ, ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ ഞാൻ രഥത്തിൽ കയറുന്നു. പിന്നെ ഞാൻ ഇഷ്ടവസുവിനെ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നു—ഞങ്ങളുടേതായ ജീവധനം: തന്റെ വഴി അറിയുന്ന അന്തർസമ്പത്ത്.
