स्तुहि स्तुहीदेते घा ते मंहिष्ठासो मघोनाम् । निन्दिताश्वः प्रपथी परमज्या मघस्य मेध्यातिथे ॥

Transliteration

stuhí stuhī́d eté ghā te maṃhíṣṭhāso maghónām | ninditā́śvaḥ prapathī́ paramajyā́ maghásya medhyātithe ||

Translation

സ്തുതിക്ക, അതെ—സ്തുതിക്ക; ഇവ ദാനികളിൽ മഹാദാനിയായ നിന്റെ അത്യന്തം ഉദാരമായ ശക്തികളാണ്. ഹേ മേധ്യാതിഥി! പഥത്തിൽ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങുക; നിന്ദിക്കപ്പെട്ട ‘അശ്വ’ങ്ങളും, ദാനബലത്തിന്റെ തീ ഞങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് യഥാവിധി ജ്വലിക്കുമ്പോൾ, പരമ യോജനങ്ങളായി ഉയരും.
