Sukta 7.91
कुविदङ्ग नमसा ये वृधासः पुरा देवा अनवद्यास आसन् । ते वायवे मनवे बाधितायावासयन्नुषसं सूर्येण ॥
kúvid áṅga námasā yé vṛdhā́saḥ purā́ devā́ anavadyā́sa ā́san | té vāyáve mánave bādhitā́ya avāsayan uṣásaṃ sū́ryeṇa ||
നമസ്കാരത്താൽ ആ പുരാതനവും ശക്തിയിൽ വർദ്ധിച്ചും കുറ്റമറ്റവുമായ ദേവന്മാർ ജയിക്കപ്പെടുമോ? അവർ വായുവിന്നും തടസ്സംകൊണ്ട് പീഡിതനായ മനുവിന്നും വേണ്ടി, ഉഷസ്സിനെ സൂര്യനോടൊപ്പം വസിപ്പിച്ചു—മാനവപഥത്തിൽ പ്രകാശിതമായ ഋതം (ക്രമം) സ്ഥാപിച്ചു.
