इन्द्रावरुणा वधनाभिरप्रति भेदं वन्वन्ता प्र सुदासमावतम् । ब्रह्माण्येषां शृणुतं हवीमनि सत्या तृत्सूनामभवत्पुरोहितिः ॥

Transliteration

indrā́varuṇā vadhánābhir apratí bhédáṃ vanvántā prá sudā́sam āvatam | bráhmāṇy eṣāṃ śṛṇutaṃ hávīmani satyā́ tṛ́tsūnām abhavat puróhitiḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര-വരുണന്മാരേ! നിങ്ങളുടെ വധശക്തികളാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അപ്രതിഹതമായ പ്രതിരോധം ഭേദിച്ചു; സുദാസനു സഹായം മുന്നോട്ടു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. ഹവിർമാർഗത്തിൽ (യജ്ഞയാത്രയിൽ) അവരുടെ ബ്രഹ്മാണി—മന്ത്രങ്ങൾ—ശ്രവിക്കുവിൻ; തൃത്സുക്കൾക്കായി സത്യ പുരോഹിതിഃ (മുൻനിര മാർഗ്ഗദർശകശക്തി) സ്ഥാപിതമായി, യാത്രയുടെ മുൻഭാഗത്ത് നയിച്ചു.
