उपो रुरुचे युवतिर्न योषा विश्वं जीवं प्रसुवन्ती चरायै । अभूदग्निः समिधे मानुषाणामकर्ज्योतिर्बाधमाना तमांसि ॥

Transliteration

úpo ruruce yuvatír ná yoṣā́ víśvaṃ jīváṃ pra-suvántī carā́yai | abhūd agníḥ samídhe mā́nuṣāṇām ákar jyótir bā́dhamānā támāṃsi ||

Translation

ഉഷസ് യുവതിയെപ്പോലെ പ്രകാശിച്ചു; എല്ലാ ജീവികളെയും മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള ഗതിയിലേക്കും പ്രചരണത്തിലേക്കും പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. മനുഷ്യരുടെ സമിധിനായി അഗ്നി ഉദിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ ജ്യോതി സൃഷ്ടിച്ച് അന്ധകാരങ്ങളെ തുരത്തുന്നു.
