प्र मे पन्था देवयाना अदृश्रन्नमर्धन्तो वसुभिरिष्कृतासः । अभूदु केतुरुषसः पुरस्तात्प्रतीच्यागादधि हर्म्येभ्यः ॥
prá me pánthā devayā́nā adṛśrann ámardhanto vásubhir íṣkṛtāsaḥ | abhūd u ketúr uṣásaḥ purástāt pratī́cy ā́gād ádhi harmyébhyaḥ ||
എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ ദേവയാന പാതകൾ ദൃശ്യമാകുന്നു; വസുക്കളുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയാൽ ബലപ്പെട്ടും നന്നായി രൂപപ്പെട്ടും അവ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങുന്നു. ഉഷസ്സിന്റെ കേതു—ധ്വജചിഹ്നം—കിഴക്കിൽ ഉദിച്ചു; അവൾ ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞ് മനുഷ്യവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളുടെ മീതെക്കൂടി എത്തുന്നു.
